Summary: Increase in the contract amount is needed to cover additional work that was not part of the original scope or prior amendments. The original scope of work for this contract was for architectural and engineering services for the replacement of existing old and inefficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Forest Preserves' General Headquarters (GHQ) building.
