Summary: The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Proposals to assist in developing strategies and action plans to achieve energy efficiency and renewable energy goals and prioritize capital investment. Eleven (11) firms submitted proposals. A selection committee reviewed the proposals and found 360 Energy Group, LLC to be the most responsive.
The selected vendor 360 Energy Group, LLC is an energy consultant based in Chicago that works closely with the Smart Energy Design Assistance Center (SEDAC), an applied research program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign whose mission is to reduce the energy footprint of the state of Illinois and to increase access to energy efficiency services and jobs. SEDAC will be a subconsultant to 360 Energy Group on this project.
