PROPOSED RESOLUTION
2020 BOARD AGENDA MEETING ANNUAL CALENDAR DATES AND LOCATIONS (Amending Resolution 19-0437)
WHEREAS, in accordance with Title 1, Chapter 5, Section 4-1(a) of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Code of Ordinances, the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioners shall hold regular meetings pursuant to an annual calendar adopted by resolution of the Board; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2.03 of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, every public body shall give public notice of the schedule of regular meetings at the beginning of each calendar or fiscal year and shall state the regular dates, times and places of such meetings; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 2020 President Preckwinkle issued Executive Order 2020-3 and, as amended by Executive Order 2020-5 issued on March 27, 2020, cancelled all Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioner meetings for the month of March; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order 2020-07 (March 16, 2020), various provisions of the Open Meetings Act have been suspended for public bodies to meet and conduct business without being physically present in order to comply with social distancing; and
WHEREAS, this body approved Resolution 19-0437, 2020 Board Agenda Meeting Annual Calendar Dates and Locations, on November 19, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioners, Illinois (the “Board”) that the 2020 annual calendar Resolution 19-0437 has been changed or is amended as follows:
1. That the Board shall hold its regular meetings of the Board on the following dates during 2020, the time for holding the specified meetings is 10:00 a.m., local time:

Tuesday, February 25, 2020
Tuesday, March 24, 2020
Thursday, April 23, 2020 Tuesday, April 21, 2020
Tuesday, May 19, 2020
Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Tuesday, July 28, 2020
Tuesday, September 22, 2020
Tuesday, October 20, 2020
Tuesday, November 17, 2020
Tuesday, December 15, 2020
2. That the place is the County Building Room 569, 118 North Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois, or remotely as lawfully permitted except for the following three meeting dates: Tuesday, May 19, 2020; Tuesday, June 16, 2020 and Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
3. That the Board shall hold a regular meeting of the Board on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center located at 9800 Willow Springs Road, Willow Springs.
4. That the Board shall hold a regular meeting of the Board on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Rolling Knolls Pavilion, 11N Rohrssen Rd, Elgin.
3. 5. That the Board shall hold a regular meeting of the Board on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Farm on Ogden located at 3555 West Ogden Avenue, Chicago.
That the same dates and locations listed here will be used to schedule the following standing committee meetings, set to begin at 9:30 a.m., local time: the Subcommittee on Workers’ Compensation; the Committee on Rules; the Committee on Finance; and the Committee on Real Estate, unless otherwise cancelled or rescheduled pursuant to lawful authority.end
