Summary: On 4/29/2015, the Cook County Board approved a contract with Constellation Energy Services (Contract No. 1428-13749) (the "County Contract"). On 11/17/2015, the Forest Preserves Board approved the Forest Preserves piggybacking off the County Contract.
On 2/7/2018, the Cook County Board approved an increase and consolidation of two (2) one-year renewal options to provide for the continuation of the supply and delivery of electricity under the County Contract. The County Contract was extended until 12/31/2020. The Forest Preserves would like to continue to piggyback off the County Contract through 12/31/2020 by exercising the second of two (2) one-year renewal options.
