Celebrate Spring! Caldwell Woods, Warming Shelter, 6350 W Devon, Ave, Chicago
Spring has sprung! Come celebrate the passing of the vernal equinox and the beginning of Easter with us, as we hike through the woods and make crafts that will highlight the return of warm weather, longer days, migrating birds, and other wildlife to our preserves. We will be taking spring-themed hikes, learning about all-natural egg dyeing techniques, as well as making spring-related crafts, birdhouses, bird feeders and more.

Salamanders in the Spotlight, Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center, Willow Springs
Search for salamanders along a night-hike to observe these amazing amphibians migrating to ephemeral wetlands. Registration Required. Family Program. Limit 25.
Saturday, 3/26; 1 pm
Biking in the Forest Preserves, Trailside Museum of Natural History, River Forest
Get maps and learn about new trails and the biking adventures that await you. In addition, Barnard's Schwinn of Oak Park will be on hand to help you get your bike ready to hit the trail.

A Stroll through Calumet, Sand Ridge Nature Center, South Holland
Go back in time to when this region was under glaciers; when Sand Ridge was a shoreline; and when settlers arrived. Program includes pioneer cabin tour.
