Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to grant a License to AT&T, Inc. (“AT&T”), Grantee, to locate, operate and maintain 690 feet of buried fiber optic cable northwest of Archer Avenue at Henry De Tonty Woods. This new underground cable line will replace existing, obsolete telephone line, originally licensed in 1960. The fiber optic cable will run to Rowell Chemical Corporation, the property owner landlocked between De Tonty Woods and the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal. No tree impacts or trail closures are anticipated as part of this license request.
Term: Ten (10) years
License Fee: $21,859.50
License Application Fee: $1,500.00
License Review Fees: $3,000.00
