Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to grant a License to Oakton Community College (“OCC”), Grantee, to locate, operate and maintain a 114-foot sidepath, guardrail and stormwater improvements on the west side of College Drive, about a quarter mile north of Golf Road at Kloempken Prairie. This sidepath is designed to provide a safe route to the campus for bicyclists and pedestrians, who currently have to share College Drive with vehicles. OCC has agreed to include interpretive signage at this location, notifying sidepath users of the adjacent forest preserve.
