WHEREAS, the COOK COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT (DISTRICT) is authorized to enter into an AGREEMENT with the STATE OF ILLINOIS (STATE) for the improvement of US Route 6, known as Contract No. 62C07, STATE Section No.: 2016-002N; and

Due to weather conditions MWRD requests a one-year extension to complete the work and restoration of the impacted areas. The total one-time upfront License Fee of $6,829.97 for a one-year term is waived according to the Memorandum of Understanding approved on 5/11/2017 between the Forest Preserves and MWRD to cooperate in the mutual waiver of permit, license, and other fees for beneficial public works projects.
