Title: PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT REPEAL OUTDATED RECYCLING ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED, by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioners, that Title 1 (Administrative), Chapter 15 (Reduction of Waste) of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety: 1-15-1: REDUCTION OF WASTE THROUGH REFUSE AND RECYCLING. The Forest Preserve District shall develop and implement a plan to reduce and reuse material, and to recycle material from all Forest Preserve facilities. Such plan will be calculated for the purpose of achieving a district-wide goal of 25 percent waste diversion and an accompanying 25 percent waste disposal cost reduction. Effective date: This ordinance amendment shall be in effect on January 1, 2025

REPEAL OUTDATED RECYCLING ORDINANCE

 

BE IT ORDAINED, by the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Board of Commissioners, that Title 1 (Administrative), Chapter 15 (Reduction of Waste) of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety:

 

1-15-1: REDUCTION OF WASTE THROUGH REFUSE AND RECYCLING.
