PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION

Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the "Forest Preserves") to enter into a construction contract with Fabex Technologies, LLC, primary place of business Chicago, Illinois, for window replacements, building envelope improvements, and restroom renovations at Forest Preserves General Headquarters.
Reason: Contract #74000013938 issued under project #23-80-13, Solicitation #24-80-100224 Window Replacements, Building Envelope Improvements, and Restroom Renovations at Forest Preserves General Headquarters. The work includes, but is not limited to, window replacements, building envelope improvements, restroom renovations, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications, and would be funded in large part by American Rescue Plan Act ("ARPA") sub-award grant funds from Cook County.
