Grantor:  The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (“IDNR”), Springfield, Illinois

 

Request:  Authorization to extend grant agreement.

Summary:  The Tinley Creek Trail Repair Project is currently 50% completed with culverts and new storm sewers installed and patching completed in preparation for asphalt surfacing scheduled to take place in spring 2024. As asphalt paving is a weather-dependent activity, the Forest Preserves requested and received an extension from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The new end date is May 2, 2025.
