Goods or Services: The Village of Morton Grove (“the Village”) is seeking to improve and maintain roughly 0.13 acres of Forest Preserves property facing its redeveloped train station and other redevelopment parcels to make it more welcoming to visitors and residents in the redevelopment area.

Summary: The Village is seeking to improve the immediate area near the renovated Morton Grove Metra station, including enhancement of a 20-foot buffer area of Forest Preserves land facing the train station and other new development. Proposed enhancement includes removal of debris and invasive species and installation of a new Forest Preserves sign that meets staff review and approval to direct the public to the entrance to St. Paul Woods. The Village will maintain the buffer area and sign for the duration of the agreement. The Forest Preserves has agreed to waive all license fees as the improvements would benefit the Forest Preserves. Final agreement is subject to legal review and approval.
