Contract Period: 9/21/2022 - 9/20/2025; with two (2) one-year optional extensions to be exercised at the discretion of the General Superintendent.

Summary: Adaptive Adventures is a national organization with local offices in Schaumburg, Illinois. They provide adaptive outdoor adventures for people with disabilities. They can provide equipment and staffing for adaptive biking, paddling and climbing wall activities. They have hosted a successful Camping Without Limits event at Camp Bullfrog Lake with the Forest Preserves in the past. We would like to continue Camping without Limits on a regular basis and build on that program to provide adaptive outdoor adventures at other locations throughout the Forest Preserves in future years. The proposed agreement would be on a sole source basis. Upon approval of the proposed agreement, it is respectfully requested that the General Superintendent of the Forest Preserves of Cook County be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Forest Preserves, such agreement.
