The Vehicle Steering Committee also approved the decommissioning of ten (10) Forest Preserves police vehicles on 4/26/2022 due to age, condition, and mileage. The proposed agreement is a piggyback contract with Sutton Ford, Inc., which was awarded, through a competitive process, a contract by the City of Chicago (#101191) which includes all upfitting.
