Summary: In 2019, the Forest Preserves entered a contract with King Transmission. The contract piggybacked off the City of Chicago’s contract with King Transmission (#34964). The City of Chicago subsequently extended its contract so that it now expires on 4/19/2023.
This request is for authorization to extend our agreement until 4/19/2023 and increase contract amount. King Transmission supplies parts and service to rebuild and remanufacture transmission and drive-line components for the Forest Preserves.
