Summary: The original scope of work for this contract was for architectural and engineering services for the replacement of existing old and inefficient heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Forest Preserves' General Headquarters (GHQ) building.
Diagnostic testing conducted under the original contract scope of work revealed the existing building envelope has severe air leaks that need correction to meet the energy efficiency performance requirements.
