River Trail Nightlife: Owl Prowl, River Trail Nature Center, Northbrook
A guided walk on our trails to search for local owls. Registration and facemasks required. Ages 8 and up.

Full Moon Hike, Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington Hills
Enjoy a 1.5-mile guided walk under a full moon along our Burr Edge Trail. Registration and facemasks required.

Winter Bonfire, Camp Shabbona Woods, South Holland
Join us at Camp Shabbona Woods as we celebrate the beginning of winter with a large bonfire, artmaking, nature walks, and more. Facemasks required.

Sunset Hike, Camp Bullfrog, Willow Springs
Join us for a stroll in the Forest Preserves and take in the evening sunset. Depending on snow conditions, snowshoes will be available to borrow for the hike. Registration and facemasks required.

Moon Walk, Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center, Willow Springs
Let the full moon be our guide as we hike the 1-mile White Oak Trail, and warm up by a fire under the night sky afterwards. All ages. Please bring binoculars. Limited pairs to lend. Registration and facemasks required.
