Summary: The Forest Preserves of Cook County is requesting to purchase eight (8) 8’ Boss Super Duty Straight Blade Snowplows through a purchasing consortium. Snowplows are used to clear snow and sleet throughout paved areas of the Forest Preserves all winter. Monroe Truck Equipment is an authorized dealer of the Toro Company which has been awarded a contract (#031121-TTC) by the Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative Program through a competitive process. The Forest Preserves has entered into other contracts with this vendor in 2021 and expects a total value of over $150,000.00 for all 2021 contracts with this vendor.
