Summary: The Forest Preserves of Cook County is requesting to purchase eight (8) Buyers Saltdogg SHPE2000 Electrica Poly Hopper Spreaders through a purchasing consortium. Spreaders are used to distribute salt throughout paved areas of the Forest Preserves all winter. Monroe Truck Equipment is an authorized dealer of Buyers Products Company which has been awarded a contract (#080818-BPC) by the Sourcewell Purchasing Cooperative Program through a competitive process. The Forest Preserves has entered into other contracts with this vendor in 2021 and expects a total value of over $150,000.00 for all 2021 contracts with this vendor.
