Summary: The Forest Preserves is requesting that the Swim Chicago Southland, Aquatic Center Management Service contract be extended through another season. While the original contract had two (2), one-year renewals, ending with the 2020 season, COVID-19 shutdowns have impacted operations in such a way which have limited the Forest Preserves ability to obtain reasonable bids for a new management and operations contract for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
