PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

 

Request:  Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a Partnership Agreement with Friends of the Forest Preserves, Chicago, Illinois.

 

Reason:  Friends of the Forest Preserves received an $196,000.00 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Chi-Cal River Program in support of Centennial Volunteers Network, an initiative that recruits volunteers and supports leaders dedicated to restoring habitat in the North Branch and Calumet regions, including Beaubien Woods, Whistler Woods, Kickapoo Woods, Blue Star Memorial Woods, Bunker Hill North Flatwoods, and Watersmeet Woods.
