Request:  Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Enlight Contracting, LLC, primary place of business Chicago, Illinois, for Districtwide Transportation Improvements at 165 Algonquin Rd and Crabtree Nature Center in Barrington, Illinois.

 

Reason:  Contract #74000009399 issued under Project #19-80-67G-21C6 Districtwide Transportation Improvements at 165 Algonquin Rd and Crabtree Nature Center. The work includes, but is not limited to, earthwork, asphalt paving, permeable paver construction, drainage and ADA improvements, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications. A Museum Grant awarded by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (“IDNR”) will contribute approximately $105,000.00 for ADA improvements at Crabtree Nature Center.
