Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County to enter into a construction contract with AGAE Contractors, Inc., primary place of business Chicago, Illinois, for shelter repairs at Midlothian Meadows and King’s Grove in Southwest Cook County.
Reason: Contract #74000009401 issued under Project #21-80-26 Picnic Shelter Repairs 2021 at Midlothian Meadows Groves #1, 2, 3 and 4, and King’s Grove #1. The work addresses the renovation of five (5) existing picnic shelters. The work includes, but is not limited to, lead-based paint removal, concrete ceiling panel patching, concrete ceiling panel replacement, roof removal and replacement, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
