Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Matthew Paving, Inc., primary place of business Oak Lawn, Illinois, for Districtwide Transportation Improvements at Flossmoor Road Bicycle Lot in Country Club Hills, Vollmer Road Grove in Matteson, Arrowhead Lake in Orland Park, Camp Sullivan in Oak Forest, McGinnis Slough in Orland Park and Tampier Lake West in Orland Park.
Reason: Contract #74000009219 issued under Project #19-80-67G-21C3 Districtwide Transportation Improvements at six (6) far south locations (Flossmoor Road Bicycle Lot, Vollmer Road Grove, Arrowhead Lake, Camp Sullivan, McGinnis Slough and Tampier Lake West). The work includes, but is not limited to, parking lot resurfacing, concrete sidewalk and pads, drainage improvements, pavement markings, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
