PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION

Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Enlight Contracting, LLC, primary place of business Chicago, Illinois, for Districtwide Transportation Improvements at Irving Park Canoe Landing in Schiller Park, Sunset Bridge Meadow in River Grove, Harms Woods Central, Harms Woods North and Blue Star Memorial Woods in Glenview.
Reason: Contract #74000009069 issued under Project #19-80-67G-21C2 Districtwide Transportation Improvements at five (5) northeast locations (Irving Park Canoe Landing, Sunset Bridge Meadow, Harms Woods Central, Harms Woods North and Blue Star Memorial Woods). The work includes, but is not limited to, pavement resurfacing, trail construction, drainage and sidewalk improvements, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
