Summary: High-resolution aerial maps are essential for planning restoration and improvement work. Procurement of aerial imagery from NearMap is desired on a sole-source basis for a period of five (5) years due to unmatched advantages which include frequency of updates (quarterly), high resolution quality, integration with current software or web-based delivery and cost compared to other vendors that can fly and collect aerial imagery over Cook County. The proposed subscription agreement is a form agreement that includes some non-standard provisions for the Forest Preserves, particularly with respect to interest for late payment, disclaimers, limitations on liability, warranties, and indemnification. The Forest Preserves intends to pay upfront for the proposed five (5) year subscription. The Forest Preserves has used NearMap since 2017.end
