Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with Matthew Paving, Inc., primary place of business Oak Lawn, Illinois, for Districtwide Transportation Improvements at Campground Road Woods in Des Plaines, Northwestern Woods in Des Plaines, Potawatomi Woods in Northbrook and River Trail Nature Center in Northbrook.
Reason:Contract #74000008960 issued under Project #19-80-67G-21C1 Districtwide Transportation Improvements at four (4) northwest locations (Campground Road Woods, Northwestern Woods, Potawatomi Woods and River Trail Nature Center). The work includes, but is not limited to, pavement resurfacing, drainage and sidewalk improvements, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
