PROPOSED LICENSE REQUEST
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to grant a License to Commonwealth Edison Company (“ComEd”), Grantee, to locate, operate and maintain two 3-foot tall mechanical boxes near two comfort stations at Busse Woods Groves #1 and #2 to upgrade the existing meters located inside the comfort stations from 3G to 4G capability. The new pedestals will occupy no more than 10 square feet each and will not impact any trees.
Term: Ten (10) Years
License Fee: $4,400.00
License Application Fee: $1,500.00
License Review Fees: $3,000.00
YELAR Fee: $6,600.00
Total one-time upfront fee of $15,500.00 for the term of the License

Grantee has met the insurance requirements under the License Agreement.
The Forest Preserves staff have reviewed this license application and plans and have found them to be acceptable; therefore, it is recommended that the Forest Preserves of Cook County Board of Commissioners approve the issuance of this license.
