Department: Department of Planning and Development
Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter a construction contract with LUC Group, LLC, primary place of business LaGrange, Illinois, for construction of a new water line serving the Central Maintenance Compound in Maywood, Illinois.
Reason: Contract #74000008025 issued under Project #18-80-68C Miller Meadow/Central Maintenance Facility water service. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a potable water service from the Village of Forest Park north of Roosevelt Road, including earthwork, concrete paving, asphalt paving, water service, soil erosion/sediment control and landscaping, traffic control and protection, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
