PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Department: Department of Planning and Development
Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with CPMH, primary place of business Chicago, Illinois, for installing concrete sidewalks, relocating sidewalks and modifying structures to meet ADA access requirements.
Reason: Contract #74000008006 issued under Project #20-80-31 Camp Bullfrog Walkway and Access Improvement includes, but is not limited to, removing existing concrete and aggregate walkways, relocating and installing new walkways, and modifying existing wooden structures to make all ADA compliant at Camp Bullfrog. Work also includes installing new catch basins, storm sewers, asphalt paving and patching and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
