Reason: Contract #74000008004 issued under Project #19-80-27C Busse Lake Boating Center Accessible Canoe Launch Improvement. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of an accessible canoe launch, including earthwork, concrete paving, asphalt paving, storm sewers, soil erosion / sediment control and landscaping, construction layout, traffic control and protection, and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.

In addition to an accessible canoe/kayak launch, the project includes a new access path to connect the launch parking lot with the Busse Boathouse and comfort station parking lot. The project is partially funded by an $80,000.00 Boat Access Area Development (BAAD) grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR).
