PROPOSED AGREEMENT
Vendor: Ali Tucker’s Sweet Surprises, Inc., Lemont, Illinois
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into an agreement
Reason: The Forest Preserves issued a Request for Proposals to provide food, beverage and retail sales at Swallow Cliff near Palos Park. Ali Tucker’s Sweet Surprises (“Ali Tucker”) was deemed to be the most responsive, after the first responsive vendor passed away. This two (2) plus year agreement with a single two-year optional extension will provide Ali Tucker with the ability to sell healthy food options and other minor retail concessions at the Forest Preserves’ Swallow Cliff concession facility on a seasonal basis. For the remainder of 2020, Ali Tucker has agreed to pay the Forest Preserves 5% of gross sales only to reflect the mid-year contract signing and temporary closure of Swallow Cliff. For each additional year thereafter, the base fee will be as follows below plus 10% of gross sales. Final agreement is subject to legal review and approval.

2023: $4,000.00 (Option Year)
2024: $4,000.00 (Option Year)
Contract period: 7/28/2020 - 12/31/2022 with a single two-year optional extension to be exercised at the discretion of the General Superintendent
Estimated Fiscal Impact: $30,000.00 (Revenue Generating during the initial two (2) plus year agreement)
