PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION
Department: Department of Planning and Development
Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”) to enter into a construction contract with TORI Construction, LLC, primary place of business Alsip, Illinois, for masonry repairs at Crabtree Nature Center in South Barrington, and masonry repairs and window replacements at Glen Grove Stables in Morton Grove.
Reason: Contract #74000008009 issued under Project #20-80-04 Masonry Repairs at Various Locations. The work includes, but is not limited to, masonry repairs and tuck pointing of existing walls at Crabtree Nature Center and masonry repairs, tuck pointing and window replacement at Glen Grove Stables and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
