Summary: The Forest Preserves is requesting that the Swim Chicago Southland, Aquatic Center Management Service contract be extended and increased through another season. While the original contract had two (2), one-year renewals, ending with the 2020 season, COVID-19 shutdowns have impacted operations in such a way which are anticipated to limit the Forest Preserves ability to obtain a reasonable bid for a new management and operations contract for the 2021 season. In 2021, the Forest Preserves intends to go out for bid for a new management and operations contract.
