Summary: On 10/24/2019 the Cook County Board of Commissioners approved contract #1944-17617 with Rising Medical Solutions, Chicago, Illinois following a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Workers’ Compensation Administration Services. The Forest Preserves is seeking to procure the same services pursuant to Section 1-8-2(X) of the Forest Preserves’ Code of Ordinances. The Forest Preserves’ contract will incorporate the same terms as the County’s contract. Contract services include Medical Bill Review/Repricing Services, Utilization Review, Case Management Services, Independent Medical Examinations, Recorded Statements and Surveillance, Durable Medical Equipment, Pharmacy Benefit Manager and Vocational Rehabilitation Placement Service.
