Summary: The Forest Preserves would like to exercise the first of two (2) one-year extension options to allow Glen Grove to continue to provide equestrian services at the Forest Preserves-owned equestrian center located at Golf and Harms. An internal contractual audit was recently performed and Glen Grove was found in compliance with their current contract. Contract amendments include requiring Glen Grove to offer four (4) nature based equestrian programs per year for use by the Forest Preserves’ Conservation and Experiential Programming Department and requiring Glen Grove to conduct background checks on employees working with unaccompanied minors. Glen Grove was originally selected in 2016, after a competitive RFP process.
