Summary: The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support programs, and to protect and restore native habitats, within the Forest Preserves. The Foundation’s work encourages philanthropic and business entities to make financial contributions toward priorities of the Forest Preserves. The Forest Preserves recognizes the benefits that an established foundation can provide and has determined that extending its agreement with the Foundation for the appropriation of funds and in-kind contributions, such as office space and services, is appropriate to further the mission of the Forest Preserves. .end
