PROPOSED LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to amend a License to North Cook County Soil & Water Conservation District, Grantee, to extend the term and increase fees related to the occupation of approximately 200 square feet of workspace at the Forest Preserves’ Northwest Resource Management facility, 640 Cosman Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Term: Originally, 9/13/2016 - 12/31/2021; proposed five (5) one-year extension options from 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2026 to be exercised at the discretion of the General Superintendent.
License Fee: Originally, $100.00 monthly. Proposed increase effective 1/1/2020 to $300.00 monthly, for which the monthly rate may increase each calendar year thereafter up to the rate, if positive, of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) as of July of the prior year, rounded up to the nearest dollar.
