PROPOSED LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to amend a License to Nature Exploration Academy (NEA),Grantee, for use of a large bunkhouse at Camp Sullivan during off-peak times during the months of August through May to change from using the large bunkhouse five (5) days a week to using indoor space at the campground one (1) day a week.
Term: Originally, 9/13/2017 - 5/25/2018. In 2018, the Board of Commissioners approved an extension of the license for an additional three (3) year period ending 5/25/2021, with the option for the General Superintendent to approve two (2), one-year renewals.
License Fee: $1,200.00 per year (decreased from previous minimum of $6,700.00 per year).
