PROPOSED LICENSE REQUEST
Request: Requesting authorization for the Forest Preserves of Cook County (the “Forest Preserves”), as Licensor to grant a License to the Village of River Grove (the “Village”), Grantee, to locate, operate and maintain road improvements on the south side of Fullerton Avenue to transition from the proposed Fullerton Avenue roadway to the existing intersection at First Avenue, which was constructed by IDOT in 1989. Part of the existing pavement of Fullerton Avenue encroaches on the Forest Preserves at Fullerton Woods. The Village will remove the existing pavement and restore the area that encroaches on the Forest Preserves west of the transition area. The license will grant the authority for the Village to locate, operate, and maintain the existing pavement and improvements within the transition area.

License Fee: $9,922.28
License Application Fee: $500.00
License Review Fee: $3,000.00
YELAR Fee: $6,450.00
Total one-time upfront fee of $19,872.28 for the term of the License

Grantee has met the insurance requirements under the License Agreement.
The Forest Preserves staff have reviewed this license application and plans and have found them to be acceptable; therefore, it is recommended that the Forest Preserves of Cook County Board of Commissioners approve the issuance of this license.
