Summary: The Forest Preserves is requesting an increase in the overall annual contract authority for this program to accommodate additional funding and restoration opportunities. In calendar year 2018, the Forest Preserve Foundation (the "Foundation") granted $125,000.00 towards the program. Approval of this action item will facilitate the Forest Preserves' ability to utilize the funds received from the Foundation and other matching grant funds for restoration purposes including, but not limited to the ecological restoration and stream bank repair of the Plum Creek Forest Preserve.
