Summary: The Forest Preserves owns real property with improvements known as Harms Woods parking lot ("Parking Lot") in Skokie, Illinois. The Parking Lot currently has approximately seventy-five (75) marked spaces available for parking and open to the public. PayNet, Inc. ("PayNet") is located at 5750 Old Orchard Road, Suite 300, within an office building across from the Parking Lot, and has requested use of said Parking Lot to provide overflow parking for its employees. The Forest Preserves of Cook County Board of Commissioners approved an agreement with PayNet to provide these parking spaces on June 7, 2016. That agreement expires on December 31, 2018. The Forest Preserves requests authorization to extend the agreement with PayNet for an additional three years. The fee for this agreement shall be a Parking Fee of $63 per vehicle per month for a minimum of five (5) and maximum of twenty (20) vehicles. This reflects a 5% increase to the Parking Fee over the previous year. The fee shall increase by 5% in each subsequent year of the agreement.
