Kayak nearly 6 miles of the Des Plaines River from Maywood Grove to Plank Road Meadow. Instruction, equipment and kayaks provided. Ages 5 and up; prior experience a plus. Registration required, call 312-533-5751

Archaeology Day, Sand Ridge Nature Center, South Holland
