Summary: A contract extension is required to provide additional time to complete custom engraved stone elements for outdoor interpretive areas. Revisions to custom art work files involved external partners and consultants and require additional time that has delayed the start of fabrication. Installation is scheduled to occur by September 2017. CCC is committed to completing stone element work under the contract, per discussions in 2016 involving CCC, its surety, and the Forest Preserve.
