Summary: Samaritan is a website provider for eCoordinator & eRecruiter which serves as both a volunteer database and an online volunteer recruitment tool. It is the foundation for the Forest Preserve’s volunteer recruitment initiatives and also serves as a volunteer recordkeeping, reporting and communication link. The Forest Preserve also uses Samaritan’s services for tracking employee trainings. There are currently about 5,000 users of the Samaritan system. This is a request for an emergency contract extension. The Forest Preserve will issue a Request for Proposals in 2017.
