Title: PROPOSED PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT Request: requesting authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County (the "Preserves") to enter into a Partnership Agreement with Audubon Great Lakes, Chicago, Illinois. Reason: Audubon Great Lakes has received a grant from the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation in the amount of $50,000.00 to support invasive species identification and removal at Bartel Grasslands, Spring Creek Forest Preserves, Orland Grassland, Poplar Creek Forest Preserve, and Schaumburg Road Grassland. The project will also work with the Preserves' Volunteer Resources staff and existing stewards to recruit and train new volunteers and bird monitors. These efforts will develop advocates for the Preserves, while increasing the quality and sustainability of regional grasslands which provide valuable bird habitat.
