Summary:  Schaumburg is requesting an Intergovernmental Agreement to construct a new trail connection from the south side of Golf Road to the existing Busse Woods Bicycle Trail on Forest Preserve property.  Schaumburg has obtained Transportation Alternatives Program funding for the design and construction of the trail segment. Under this proposed IGA, the Preserves anticipate that the trail connection will be completed within three (3) years.  The Preserves will assume responsibility for maintenance upon completion and acceptance of construction.
