Summary:  CCDOTH has established the need to replace approximately one thousand (1,000) ft. of corrugated metal culvert that contains Salt Creek and runs along the north side of Central Road, then turns under Central Road and outlets south of the road. This project will remove the culvert along the north side of Central Road and re-establish Salt Creek as a natural stream, improving water quality and benefitting the surrounding landscape. CCDOTH will reconstruct the existing paved trail that runs over the culvert, and provide trees and landscaping as approved by the Preserves. The section of culvert that runs under the road will be replaced by a new concrete box culvert. The IGA provides for the temporary and permanent easements as shown in Exhibit A to construct the project and maintain the new box culvert. The Preserves will maintain the re-established creek after two years.
