Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserves District of Cook County (the “Preserves”) to enter into a contract with Matthew Paving, Inc., Oak Lawn, Illinois for various trail repairs to Poplar Creek and Busse Woods and parking lot repairs to Deer Grove West picnic grove #4 and River Trail Nature Center.
Reason: Contract 16-80-28 Trail Repairs for Poplar Creek and Busse Woods and Parking Lot Repairs for Deer Grove West #4 and River Trail Nature Center. The work includes, but is not limited to, hot-mix asphalt paving, culverts, ditching and other related work as specified in the plans and specifications.
