Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County to enter into and execute
Good(s) or Service(s): Through this contract Pepsi will receive exclusive pouring rights for all beverages including low caloric and sugar free options to be served on all Forest Preserve District properties with the exception of the Forest Preserve golf courses which are not part of this agreement, in exchange for certain rebates, commissions and other one-time and annual revenues as specified in Schedule of Compensation in the contract, while Superlative will coordinate and facilitate operational and financial aspects of the Agreement
Contract Value: Revenue generating contract with minimum guarantee of $117,500.00 over ten (10) years. Estimated revenue over ten years between $117,500.00 to $205,000.00.

Summary: On 7/21/2015 the Forest Preserve approved an Intergovernmental Agreement between the County and the Forest Preserve for the purpose of joining the Asset Marketing Program. On 9/08/2015, the Forest Preserve Board approved the Forest Preserve procuring the same service as Cook County under contract 12-90-289 with the Superlative Group, Inc. for asset marketing program services.
On 5/11/2016 the County approved a contract with the Bottling Group, LLC (Pepsi) and Superlative Group, Inc. through which the County and the Forest Preserve will grant exclusive pouring rights to Pepsi for all beverages sold on County and Forest Preserve property for a ten year period, with the exception of Forest Preserves golf courses which are not part of this agreement. In exchange the County and the Forest Preserve will receive commissions, rebates and other one-time and annual revenues as specified in the schedule of compensation of the contract. Superlative will coordinate and facilitate operational and financial aspects of the Agreement.
The estimated contract value for the Forest Preserve reflects the revenue expected to be received over the contract period.
